Now you say:

Why did YOU bring up babies when trying to tell me about people who were able to keep the law in the first place?

You seem to think you could keep the Mosaic Law if you wanted. That's exactly what the diciples and Pharisees thought. Jesus told them (and you) ..."unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

If you believe self-righteousness is good enough for God, then you think you don't need Jesus, so you can stand in front of God clothed in you own righteousness (Isa 64:6).

The law's job is to KILL, not to save. It does away with ALL human (self) righteousness.

In case you are not aware, it wasn’t Jeremiah that whispered “the law wll be part of the perfect king of Judah” in your ear, that was the WT. WE can all read EXACTLY what Jeremiah SAID.You don’t get to tell us what the bible says, WE CAN ALL READ IT FOR OUR SELVES.

OK, call me stupid! Are you saying babies can't covet or be self-centered? Why do they throw tantrums? Do babies love God with all their heart soul and mind or love their neighbor as themselves?

I think you'll find there were probably more Jews in the early Roman church than gentiles, it was adressed to all. Rom 1:7 To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints:

I think that the difficult of keeping the Law was very clear, and made even more so by how some made it even MORE legalistic ( as the case of the Sabbath law and what could be done, how far one could travel, etc).

That's why and how Jesus did the same thing to the pharisees. He made it simpler to understand how impossible it was for them to keep.

Please read my commentary in all its context. My point is the law of Moses is a set of social, religous and other regulations. It in no way defines prophecy or who the Messiah is. It makes no sense to claim Jesus forfilled the Torah. Even he did, that doesnt mean the law is cancelled. There is no direction in the OT that says this. Many people today , including you and me probabaly never break a law in our home countries, that doesnt mean they are wiped... thats nonsense .

I gave you an OT quote that said otherwise. (Jeremiah 23:5,6) You choose to ignore it, I guess on the basis that it is prophetic in nature.

Saying Jesus 'fulfilled the law' is not saying that it is ‘cancelled’, particularly for the unbeliever who claims he can keep it. It is still the only righteous basis for acceptance in GOD’s kingdom (or Theocracy as in the OT).

However, you are foolish if you think anyone (other than Christ) could keep it.

Im making a bold statement but i seriously doubt Jesus was the first Jew to never break a law of the Torah. The Law of Moses is a pain with all its nonsense but its not impossible to go thru life and never steal or murder.

Yea, that’s a bold statement alright. You can’t be serious. The Law wasn’t only about murder and theft. How long could a person ‘love the LORD GOD with ALL his heart soul and mind’? How long could a person worship without being distracted?

How many could keep this standard?

Mat 5:21 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.'22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, 'You fool!' will be liable to the hell of fire.

Again, you have to be ‘kidding’. Is this thread about where do babies go when they die? Because no one could make it to manhood (even age 13) and keep the law according to Jesus.
